Brenda Sanders

Brenda Sanders is a licensed Realtor/Broker in Kansas and Missouri, specializing in new home construction on a full-time basis for more than three decades. She has closed thousands of homes with Kansas City’s top builders and has a high-level understanding of the construction and contractual sides of each transaction. Brenda began her career in the residential resale market before joining Rodrock Development in 1992. She later enhanced her career with two leading homebuilding companies, J.S. Robinson Fine Homes and James Engle Custom Homes, who each built 100+ homes per year.  This provided Brenda a first-hand look at the entire scope of the day-to-day homebuilding process. She later returned to Rodrock Development in 2013 and worked closely with Darol Rodrock, first as Vice President of Strategic Development and then as President, Broker, and Owner of Rodrock & Associates Realtors, LLC until August of 2021.

 

 

Throughout her career, Brenda has been an on-site agent, worked in development, worked for builders, owned and brokered a real estate company, sold land, villas, townhomes and single family homes from $300K to multi-million. She has also launched dozens of successful new home communities with Rodrock Development. Her knowledge of the industry is extensive and all-encompassing.

 

 

Brenda realized there were several unmet needs within this ever-changing industry.  She believed that her extensive experience and the relationships she built in the new home construction and the real estate industries could be fine-tuned to master the complex process and the overall experience for buyers and sellers alike.  In August of 2021, Brenda partnered with Weichert, Welch and Company, the largest new home construction real estate company in Kansas City.  Upon joining forces, she opened the Gateway Team office in Prairie Village to sell traditional real estate with a strong emphasis in new home construction and development.
